Papertake Weekly Challenge- Flower Power
OK so I have been busy this weekend creating- we are lucky we have clean laundry after all the cards that I created- check other posts! I think if the creative mood strikes then you go with it- goodness knows I have had creative block once or twice...
I digress. The purpose of this card is for one of my dear friends- thought sending a card might cheer her up! The image is C.C. Designs Swiss Pixies Collection (Fall Brigitta). I colored her with Copics and used Stickles on her wings and on the center of the flowers in the image. The papers- you guessed it- K & Company Wild Saffron paper pack- see I told you the paper doesn't disappoint! The sunflowers are Martha Stewart and I couldn't even begin to tell you where the sentiment comes from...
I wanted to enter this into the Papertake Weekly Challenge- Flower Power- I think it fits perfectly!
Simon Says- Thanksgiving/ Thank You
Four more days and then Thanksgiving- are you ready? I am super thankful for so many things in my life and I thank God for everything He has given me!
That being said, thought I would enter in the Simon Says card challenge- Thanksgiving/ Thank You! I colored this image using mostly Copics, but to get that grey kind of color on the paper I did use Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut the whole image and then use 3 dimensional adhesive on the back of the paper to kind of give it a 3D look. This card is actually on its way to Operation Write Home- a great organization that sends cards to the troops- wonder where this card will end up...
Anywhoo, hope you enjoy this one- it happens to be one of my favorites:)
Stamptacular Sunday - Challenge 190- Recipe!
Love this little Lili of the Valley image (colored with Copics)! Thought I might enter the challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday- the challenge is a recipe! Mmmmm!
Here's the recipe:
I used Matha Stewart ribbon, Queen & Co. pearls and an oval die to whip up this creation (and I just realized I used a Martha Stewart punch on that border!) The paper is from a K & Company paper pack called Wild Saffron- the stack never gets old and I think I have made a few cards with it already! Hope you like this creation- I think it turned out scrumpdiddlyumptious!
