Papertake Weekly Challenge- Flower Power

OK so I have been busy this weekend creating- we are lucky we have clean laundry after all the cards that I created- check other posts!  I think if the creative mood strikes then you go with it- goodness knows I have had creative block once or twice...

I digress.  The purpose of this card is for one of my dear friends- thought sending a card might cheer her up! The image is C.C. Designs Swiss Pixies Collection (Fall Brigitta).  I colored her with Copics and used Stickles on her wings and on the center of the flowers in the image.  The papers- you guessed it- K & Company Wild Saffron paper pack- see I told you the paper doesn't disappoint!  The sunflowers are Martha Stewart and I couldn't even begin to tell you where the sentiment comes from...

I wanted to enter this into the Papertake Weekly Challenge- Flower Power- I think it fits perfectly!

Simon Says- Thanksgiving/ Thank You

Four more days and then Thanksgiving- are you ready?  I am super thankful for so many things in my life and I thank God for everything He has given me!

That being said, thought I would enter in the Simon Says card challenge- Thanksgiving/ Thank You!  I colored this image using mostly Copics, but to get that grey kind of color on the paper I did use Prismacolor pencils.  I fussy cut the whole image and then use 3 dimensional adhesive on the back of the paper to kind of give it a 3D look.  This card is actually on its way to Operation Write Home- a great organization that sends cards to the troops- wonder where this card will end up...

Anywhoo, hope you enjoy this one- it happens to be one of my favorites:)

Stamptacular Sunday - Challenge 190- Recipe!

Love this little Lili of the Valley image (colored with Copics)!  Thought I might enter the challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday- the challenge is a recipe!  Mmmmm!

Here's the recipe:
I used Matha Stewart ribbon, Queen & Co. pearls and an oval die to whip up this creation (and I just realized I used a Martha Stewart punch on that border!) The paper is from a K & Company paper pack called Wild Saffron- the stack never gets old and I think I have made a few cards with it already!  Hope you like this creation- I think it turned out scrumpdiddlyumptious!

Going, Going, GONE!

That's right- they are OUTTA HERE  and on their way to OWH (Operation Write Home)!  For those of you that aren't familiar with this group, they send hand made cards to the troops.  It is worth checking out!  These are a few creations that I made- hope they enjoy the creativity.  In fact if you have a creative bug and need to create, why not join them and make a few cards for the troops- it is well worth it!

Wine Bottle Charm

This was soooooo fun to make and honestly I am very proud of the work that I did on it!  The concept was simple, but the details had to be PERFECT!  To be honest it wasn't the flowers that were throwing me, but the sentiment NOEL- I know,  it is the simple things!  I tried stamped sentiments, different colored/ sized stickers, but nothing really was the right size/ dimension for me.  Then I ran across these silver stickers and "wala!" the whole thing came together.  I hope this inspires someone out there for the holiday season.  If you are interested in the product used visit the Heartfelt Creations blog or store!  Happy Shopping!

If you get a chance I encourage you to go to their website www.heartfeltcreations.us and check it out!

Heartfelt Creations New Stamp Launch- The Garden Romance Collection

Here is my newest card for the Garden Romance Collection at Heartfelt Creations.  This collection is awesome- as soon as you see it you are gonna want it!!!  OK so I do love birdhouses and country style anything so this collection is right up my alley!  So many different ideas are swimming is my head for the cards that need to be created!  I absolutely love, love, LOVE the little butterflies- too cute!

Happy Birthday- Holly Berry Design

OK so it has been a few weeks since my last post, but I have been busy!!  Take a look at this super cool rubber stamp by Holly Berry!  This is the Earth Whispers Medallion stamp and ohhhh how cool it turned out!  It was my dear friend's birthday and I wanted to add a special touch to the present I was wrapping- I found this great wrapping paper and figured that I could use the medallion as a bow!  Now this is work soooo I glued the wrapping paper to the sides of the box so that the medallion would sit on the top opening. That way the only "opening" is the top of the box and she can regift the box to the next lucky birthday recipient.  Check out the photos below!
